In April 2023, two KomuDoor door phones were installed in the first two tower buildings of Tapiola's Feenix, Asunto Oy Espoon Tulilintu and Aurinkosiipi. The new development on its own plot, Tapiola's Feenix, represents a new era of living and will ultimately consist of three tower buildings. One of the towers is still under construction, but the KomuDoor door phone system will also be installed there. KomuDoor has been proven effective in buildings and has received positive feedback from both residents and the installation partner, Arvolukko Oy.
In the first tower building, Tulilintu, the door phone has been in use since April, and it has just been put into operation in the next completed building, Aurinkosiipi. In these modern new buildings, the aim is to offer residents ease of living and a modern solution for access, making KomuDoor the perfect door phone option.
KomuDoor is an IP-based system developed by Komu Homes that combines the best features of traditional wired and internet-enabled IP-based systems. KomuDoor is a considerably cheaper and more ecological option compared to traditional wired door phones. The system includes the door phone itself and a mobile app, through which opening the door is conveniently done. The app also allows for the opening of doors in multiple staircases.
KomuDoor is suitable for both new developments and retrofit projects thanks to its simple and local installation process - only an internet connection and electricity are needed. Expensive cabling or answering units are not required, as the resident's phone serves as the terminal device. Installations are always carried out in collaboration with our trusted installation partners, and KomuDoor guarantees ongoing maintenance and customer service in case of any issues.
